For those of you who are looking for a discount cell phone plan without a contract or a credit check, the industry has what are called prepaid plans that will allow you to buy minutes as you go along rather than being obligated to a monthly contract and fee. Prepaid is absolutely the way to go. I have a net 10 prepaid. The calls cost 10c a minute and there are no extra charges. This is much cheaper than the contract that I had
